ON SATURDAY 15TH JANUARY 2000 AT DISNEYLAND PARIS WE WERE PRESENTED WITH THE FOLLOWING AWARD.

EDITOR'S AWARD FOR DISABILITY AWARENESS 2000 AT THE ANNUAL COACH INDUSTRY AWARDS CEREMONY.

The annual awards ceremony is the 'Oscar's' of the coaching industry and is organised by the leading coaching magazine Coach & Bus Week. This year's awards were held at Disneyland, Paris and was attended by over 750 of the industry's leading coach operator's, holiday companies and suppliers from all over the U.K.

This was the first year that this award has been included following the recent government proposals to make coaching more accessible to the less able- bodied.

This award was kept secret until the night of the event and was nominated and judged by the panel of judges without any exterior influences. John Flanagan Coach Travel was presented this award for providing an excellent service specifically geared to the needs of disabled people. A service which we are continually striving to increase and improve. As winners of this prestigious award we will endeavour to lead the coaching industry and improve it's awareness of the disabled traveller through 2000 and beyond.
